FundWisr™ User Manual

How to run your organization in FundWisr.

Written for the person who has just been handed the software and has an organization to run. It assumes no software vocabulary and no finance vocabulary. Start at the first chapter if you are new, or use the list below if you came here for one thing.

49 chapters · 7 parts · free to read, no account needed

01

Getting started

What this software is, how to set up your account, and how to read the screen. Start at the top if you have never opened FundWisr before.

02

Your daily view

The six pages you open without having decided what you came to do. Setup progress, bringing records in, and the three that tell you what needs attention.

03

Money coming in

Recording what you already have, finding what you could have, and keeping the two apart. Revenue, donors, earned income, pricing, grants, non-grant capital, and finance.

04

Strengthening the organization

Programs and the people in them, the forms that let people reach you, and the governance, staffing, risk and strategy work that decides whether any of it holds.

05

Growing

Scaling, property, commercial structure, the buildings and assets you already hold, and events. The tools where the software most often tells you not to.

06

Working with what you have

The tools that hold no records of their own and read across everything else: asking questions, writing documents, building reports, keeping evidence, connecting other systems, and learning.

07

Running the account

Settings, billing, what the software emails you, signing documents, the portals other people use, and how to reach a person.

Still being written

Chapters are published as they are finished rather than held back until every module is covered. What is here is complete and accurate; what is missing is missing. If the module you need is not listed yet, the Help Center answers specific questions today, and support@fundwisr.ai reaches a person.
