Getting started
Running your first diagnostic
The Comprehensive Organizational Health Diagnostic: what the 52 questions measure, how the score is built, and what to do with the result.
Start with the comprehensive one
FundWisr offers thirteen diagnostics. Twelve of them look closely at one area. The thirteenth, the Comprehensive Organizational Health Diagnostic, looks at all of them shallowly and tells you which of the other twelve are worth your time. Take that one first.
It is 52 questions across 13 domains, and it takes most people 25 to 40 minutes. You can stop and come back; answers save as you go.

How to answer
Each question is a statement about your organization, and you say how true it is. The honest answer is the useful one. There is no funder reading this and no score to protect.
Two rules that make the result trustworthy:
- If a policy exists but nobody follows it, it does not exist. Score it that way.
- If you are not sure, say so rather than guessing high. The result carries a confidence figure alongside the score, and unsure answers lower it honestly rather than distorting the score itself.
Reading your result
You get one weighted score from 0 to 100, a band that says what the score means, a per-domain breakdown, and a confidence figure that reflects how completely you answered.
| Score | Band |
|---|---|
| 85 to 100 | Strong and Well-Positioned |
| 70 to 84 | Stable with Strengthening Opportunities |
| 55 to 69 | Developing with Material Gaps |
| 40 to 54 | Vulnerable and Requiring Focused Action |
| 0 to 39 | Significant Foundational Risk |
The per-domain breakdown is the part to act on. A 72 overall can hide a 30 in risk and compliance, and that 30 is the thing that will hurt you.
What happens next
- Your weakest domains are recommended as the next diagnostics to take.
- Findings become suggested items in the Action Center, so a gap becomes a task with an owner rather than a line in a report.
- The score appears on your Command Center and is tracked over time, so a re-run in six months shows movement.
