Working with what you have

FundWisr Community

The one part of FundWisr that reaches outside your organization: a directory and discussions with other nonprofits using it.

How this differs from everything else

Your organizational data is not part of that. Nothing from your revenue, your programs, your people, or your diagnostics is visible here. What is visible is what you deliberately put on a profile or write in a discussion.

FundWisr Community, the one tool that reaches outside your own organization.

Using it without regretting it

  • Opt in deliberately. A directory profile is public to other users. Decide what you want other nonprofits to know about you.
  • Assume anything you post is quotable. These are colleagues, and some of them apply for the same money you do.
  • Never post details about the people you serve. Not anonymized, not "a client of ours". That is not what this is for.
  • Ask the practical questions. Which funder is slow to pay, which auditor understands small nonprofits, how somebody handled a policy you are drafting. This is what a peer network is genuinely good for.
