Money coming in
Revenue Portfolio
Every source of money you have, recorded with how certain it is, so the total never quietly mixes a signed contract with a hopeful guess.
What belongs here
One record for every source of money: each grant, each contract, each recurring donation program, each earned-income line. Not each gift. A single donor giving monthly is one source, and their individual payments live underneath it.

How certain is this money
Every source records what kind of amount it is, and FundWisr sorts those into five levels of certainty. It reports them separately and never adds them into one number without saying so.
| Certainty | Means |
|---|---|
| Confirmed | Awarded, contracted, committed, or already received. You can plan against this. |
| Expected | Invoiced or outstanding. The commitment exists; the money has not arrived. |
| Pending | Pledged or under application. A real prospect, not yet a decision. |
| Projected | Estimated from history or pattern. Your own forecast. |
| Targeted | A goal you have set. Not revenue at all until something moves it up. |
Amounts that are not annual
Each amount is paired with how often it is paid, and only genuinely recurring frequencies are annualized. A monthly $500 becomes $6,000 a year. A one-time $50,000 grant stays $50,000.
Two fields worth getting right on every record:
- Restricted or unrestricted. Restricted money pays for what the funder chose. Unrestricted money pays rent and salaries, and it is what the resilience score cares about most.
- End date. Without it, nothing can tell you what is expiring, and the Deadline Board cannot warn you.
Revenue health
Alongside the totals, the tool scores the shape of your portfolio out of 100 and places it on a band. The score is built only from dimensions it can genuinely compute from your records.
| Score | Band |
|---|---|
| 80 to 100 | Durable and Adaptive Portfolio |
| 65 to 79 | Strong Revenue Portfolio |
| 45 to 64 | Developing Diversification |
| 25 to 44 | Fragile Revenue Base |
| 0 to 24 | Critical Dependency |
